The War and Treaty Philadelphia Concert reviews
Not impressed
As a surprise for her birthday, I bought tickets to see The War and Treaty Nutcracker in Durham (at DPAC). Every year we go to local Nutcracker performances (we live on the coast). My daughter (9yrs) loves to dance! I was excited for her to see her first "professional" ballet. These tickets were NOT cheap. Just over $200 for 2 tickets. This is a big deal for us as we are also 3 hours away from Durham. The performance was NOT worth $200. In a "nutshell" it seemed as though it was a local dance studio that put on the performance and had a few professionals pop in. I hate to have to critique it this way, but for $200 & a 6 hour car ride...we won't be back.
